Panic among villagers due to sighting of leopard near the population

Sambhal/Chandausi: A leopard was seen crossing the road near the population late on Friday evening in Asalatpur Jarai village, three kilometers away from the city. Its video is going viral on social media. There is panic among the villagers after the leopard is confirmed in the area. The villagers have demanded the forest department to catch the leopard soon. The Forest Department team reached the village and took information about the matter.
In Asalatpur Jarai village of Kotwali area, there has been noise of leopard coming for a week. On the night of 25th August, a wild animal had made a morsel of goat tied in the circle of Sunil Kumar in Jatav Basti. Karmjit Sagar and Pushkar of the village had gone to the farm at seven o’clock on Friday evening. Only then a leopard was seen crossing the road about 100 meters away from the Jatav colony. Seeing the leopard, he got scared and silently came towards the village.
During this, the youth made a video of the leopard. The leopard is clearly visible in the video. On Saturday morning, the farmers working in the fields at this place also heard the sound of roaring from the dense bushes. The leopard ran away after the farmers made noise. On finding out, Forest Ranger Najakat Hussain has taken information from the villagers.
I went to the forest about 100 meters away from the village with my friend at around seven o’clock on Friday evening. At the same time a wild animal came out from the fields. There were rashes on his body. Realizing that it was a leopard, he quietly returned to the village with his friend. Leopard is roaming around the population only.
