Patients are losing their lives, doctors are taking salary without duty

Rajim: 19 year old Japsingh, resident of Mudipani, Chhura, died due to the bite of a krait snake. This morning, after being bitten by a snake, the family members took the victim to Chhura Community Health Center in 108 emergency vehicle, where even after waiting for about an hour, the young man died in the hospital due to lack of treatment.

In this case, the deceased’s mother Bisahin Kumar and younger brother Amar Singh blamed the doctors of the Community Health Center and said that due to lack of treatment there was no doctor on the spot and he died. The family members sat on a dharna in front of the hospital, demanding action against the doctor’s negligence, keeping the dead body in the hospital.

Bhupendra Sahu, the sub-divisional officer, who reached the spot as soon as he got wind of the matter, assured the victim’s family that action would be taken after immediate investigation, but the helpless mother and brother sitting in fast in front of the hospital remained adamant on demanding action against the negligent doctor. And they kept protesting against the body of the deceased being taken to the PM, but due to the administration not taking care of the helpless family members, the hospital and the administration took the dead body to the PM in an ambulance.
