Pay pending dues of government employees and retired employees immediately: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Harish made it clear in the assembly that not a single rupee related to PRC, deals or retirement benefits that were due to government employees was pending during the BRS regime. Harish said that the Congress government has not fulfilled a single promise made to the employees during the elections. The former minister reminded that retired employees are facing a lot of difficulties because they are not getting retirement benefits, and many people have died due to poor health after this Congress government came to power. He said that this government has not shown mercy to them even after going to court to get retirement benefits. Harish said that employees are like chariot wheels for the government, only if they are happy can the welfare programs and development programs that the government should provide to the people run smoothly. But.. today, the employees of this state government are facing various difficulties because they are not getting the benefits they are entitled to. They are suffering from severe mental anguish.

Today, six DAs are pending for state government employees, which is unprecedented in the country. Even after two years of the Congress government coming to power, PRC has not been given to the employees. Harish Rao reminded the assembly that during the previous KCR regime, 39 percent PRC was given once and 43 percent PRC was given again. Similarly, he said that he is requesting the government to implement the EHS (Employees Health Scheme) for the employees and to immediately release all the GPF and other dues to the employees. Moreover, he revealed that today, retired employees are facing a lot of difficulties as they are not getting the benefits they are entitled to, and that about 39 retired employees have lost their lives due to lack of money or proper medical treatment.
