People of Budha Pahad will vote for the first time after independence
Garhwa: Where once there was an atmosphere of terror, there is now the joy of participating in the celebration of democracy. The administration is making the people here aware about voting. A year ago, security forces had liberated Budha Pahad located in Garhwa district from the clutches of Naxalites. Voting is to be held here on May 13. On the instructions of the Election Commission, DC and SP themselves reached here and appealed to the villagers to vote without any fear. Poems are now being recited to the children here who once heard the sound of Naxalites’ guns and bomb blasts day and night. Panic has now been replaced by pencil. The children going to schools are now studying with great love. The SP said that he has appealed to the people to vote without any fear. Every kind of security will be provided to them. DC said that development work is now taking place in this area which was once in the captivity of Naxalites. We have appealed to everyone to vote in the Lok Sabha elections.
