Broadway bus stand renovation: Bus services from Royapuram and Thivuttidal to resume from today.
Tamil Nadu: The Metropolitan Transport Corporation has announced that from Saturday (January 24), a temporary bus terminal will be set up in Royapuram, Thivuthidal, due to ongoing renovation and infrastructure work at the Broadway bus terminal.
In this regard, the announcement issued by the Municipal Transport Corporation states: Since renovation and infrastructure work is underway at the Broadway bus terminal, buses operating from Broadway bus terminal will operate from the temporary bus terminals set up in Royapuram and Thivuthidal from Saturday (January 24).

When the bus proceeds from its starting point towards Royapuram, it will stop at the existing Nurses Residence bus stop and the High Court bus stop on North Beach Road to drop off passengers and will proceed via Rajaji Road to the Royapuram temporary bus terminal.
Buses operating from the Royapuram temporary bus terminal towards E.V.R. Road and Anna Salai will stop at the Paris Corner signal and the existing High Court bus stand on North Beach Road to pick up passengers and will then proceed on their regular routes. Routes operating from Anna Salai:

When buses operating from E.V.R. Road and Vepery proceed towards Thivuthidal from their starting points, they will drop off passengers at the existing Nurses Residence bus stop, turn right, and proceed via the Muthusamy flyover to the Thivuthidal temporary bus terminal.
When buses operating from Coastal Railway Station proceed towards Thivuthidal from their starting points, they will stop at the existing High Court bus stop on North Coastal Road at Paris Corner signal, drop off passengers, and proceed via the Muthusamy flyover to the Thivuthidal temporary bus terminal. When buses operating on Mannadi Road depart from their starting point towards Thivuthidal, they will turn right onto Esplanade Road and proceed via the Muthusamy Flyover to the Thivuthidal temporary bus terminal.
Buses operating on Kamarajar Salai will depart from their starting point, turn left at the Paris Corner signal, drop off passengers at the existing Paris Corner bus stop, and then proceed via NSC Bose Road and Esplanade Road to the temporary bus terminal located on the Island.
Buses traveling from the Island towards the Coast Railway Station will proceed over the Muthusamy Flyover, turn left, and stop at the existing Rangavilas bus stop on Esplanade Road and N.S.C. Bose Road to pick up passengers.
