People should be aware of financial literacy: Canara Bank Manager Tuljaram
Tuljaram, Manager of Hadnur Canara Bank in Nyalkal mandal, suggested that it is very important for everyone to have an understanding of financial literacy. On Thursday, awareness was created on financial literacy at the local Gram Panchayat office. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the value and recognition of what we have earned with our hard work is possible only through financial literacy. He said that financial literacy plays a key role in future plans.
He said that there is a great need to raise awareness among the people of rural areas about the ever-increasing cyber crimes and frauds. He explained all kinds of schemes, loans and insurance facilities provided by the central and state governments. He advised the youth, women and farmers to take advantage of the loans provided at low interest rates. He urged the people to take advantage of loans available through banks like Jan Suraksha, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Mudra, PMEGP, PM Jeevan Jyoti, Atal Pension Yojana.
