Plane crashes in forest Colombia children survive on leaves for 16 days
Bogota: The children who were lost in the forest after the plane crashed survived by eating fruits, leaves and twigs. Those who survived the plane crash saw another death in the form of starvation in the jungle. However, those little girls who did not know the omens were not afraid. They saved the lives of their 11-month-old baby. Not one, not two, among the wild beasts survived together for 16 days and finally got out of the forest alive. Those children from the indigenous tribe had minimal knowledge of forests and they conquered death.
The country’s president, Gustavo Petro, said that the children were found in Dumar area. It is known that on May 1, the plane crashed in the Gouviare region of Colombia. In this accident, three people died on the spot, the brothers belonging to the indigenous tribe, 13, 9 and 4 years old, and an 11-month-old baby also survived. Later they all got lost in the forest. A search has been made for them. Audio recordings of the children’s grandmother’s voice in the language of the indigenous tribe were played in the forest. But no result. The dogs recognized the children’s belongings, the fruits they ate and dropped. Locals in Dumar area identified the children and conveyed the information of the children to the authorities through radio. They were taken to Kachiporro by boat and handed over to the authorities.
