Plantation done in District Jail, legal information inspected

Rule. Secretary Pramod Bansal said that according to the action plan, environmental protection and tree plantation campaign is being conducted from June 01 to July 31, 2023, under which tree plantation program was organized in the district jail. While addressing, Secretary Bansal said that every person should plant at least one tree in his life and that tree should be nurtured like a child. Trees give us vital air, many medicines and houses for birds.
Giving information about the prevention of single-use plastic, he motivated the inmates to use cloth and jute bags, paper envelopes as an alternative to plastic for better health and environmental protection, and to plant more and more plants. He told the prisoners in detail about the harm caused by plastic to our health and environment, ban on single use plastic, importance of trees and environmental protection.
Secretary Bansal discussed with the prisoners detained in the prison about their problems, the advocates appointed in their cases and the cases being lobbied, medical facilities, CCTV. Taking other information including camera, library, barrack, provided necessary instructions.
