Platoon commanders did march past, showed passion for the pride of the country
Raipur. The state level main function of Republic Day was organized at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur. Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan hoisted the flag and took the salute. The Governor inspected the parade and a ceremonial fire was fired. The program organized included Border Security Force, Central Reserve Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Telangana Police, Chhattisgarh Armed Forces Men and Women, Chhattisgarh Police (Men), Jail Police (Men), City Army ( Men), Municipal Army (Women), Band Platoon, Cavalry Squad, Mahila Bag Piper Band Squad and NCC Boys and NCC Girls Platoons participated. All the platoons showed their passion for the pride of the country by marching past.
All the platoons marched past in unison and enthralled the audience. Amazing feeling of patriotism was visible in everyone. Flag march, standing salute, tent pegging and show jumping were also performed by the cavalry contingent. The performance by the cavalry team attracted all the spectators. The audience encouraged him with thunderous applause. Everyone appreciated him. Platoons with excellent performance were awarded. In this, Border Security Force of Central Force got first position, Indo Tibetan Force got second position and Telangana Police got third position. Similarly, the women’s bag piper band squad of the state police force stood first, the city army (women) stood second and the city army (men) stood third.
