Plus 2 general elections start today
Tamil Nadu: The Plus 2 public exams begin today (March 2).
The Plus 2 general exams will be held across Tamil Nadu from Monday, March 26th. All exams will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. On the first day, Monday, exams for Tamil and other language subjects will be held.
A total of 8.27 lakh students are appearing for the Plus 2 general exams across Tamil Nadu, including 800,000 boys and girls, 27,783 private candidates, and 281 prisoners. 3,412 exam centers have been set up for these students. In Chennai district, 67,516 students are taking the exam at 250 centers.
To prevent students from misbehaving at exam centers, 4,540 flying squad members have been deployed. Restrooms and drinking water facilities have been provided for students at exam centers.
In addition, transportation facilities have been provided to ensure students reach exam centers on time. All examination centers have been equipped with examination rooms with proper ventilation and lighting. The Examination Department has provided students with disabilities with dictation, language relaxation, and an extra hour for writing exams. In addition, separate examination rooms have been provided on the ground floor for students with disabilities.
