New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and inspected the new terminal of Rajkot International Airport in Gujarat. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia were present with him.
The airport is built at a cost of 1500 crores
Regarding the airport, Sanjeev Kumar told that the total cost of construction of the airport came to about Rs 1500 crore. The runway is 3,000 meters long, allowing even large aircraft to land here. Along with this, there is also scope for expansion if required.
A press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that the Prime Minister’s vision of improving air connectivity across the country would get a boost with the development of the new International Airport in Rajkot.
