THVEKA leader Vijay will file his nomination from Trichy East constituency on April 2.

Tamil Nadu: It has been announced that Tamil Nadu Victory Party leader Vijay will file his nomination to contest from the Trichy East constituency on April 2.

Thaweka leader Vijay has been announced to contest from two assembly constituencies, Perambur and Trichy East. The party has said that he will file his nomination papers from the Trichy East constituency on Thursday (April 2). Trichy Corporation Assistant Commissioner Muthu Murugesa Pandian has been appointed as the Returning Officer for the Trichy East constituency. The Returning Officer’s office is located at the Corporation’s second ward committee office in Palakkarai.

Trichy East Taluk Officer K. Vignesh has been appointed as the Assistant Returning Officer for this constituency. His office is located at the Trichy East Taluk office. Candidates contesting from the East constituency can file their nominations at both offices.

However, it is being said that Thaweka leader Vijay may file his nomination at the Returning Officer’s office. Because of this, and because filing of nominations is to begin from Monday, heavy security arrangements have been made at the corporation office in Palakkarai.
