Pm Modis Gujarat Lion Analogy In Address To Ethiopian Parliament

 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ethiopia is continuing. As part of this visit, the Prime Minister addressed the Ethiopian Parliament. He said that being in Ethiopia, the home of lions, feels like being at home.

“Ethiopia is the home of lions. My hometown Gujarat is also the home of lions. That is why I feel at home here. India has good relations with this country. The national anthems of both countries inspire pride, love and patriotism in the people for the motherland,” the Prime Minister said. On behalf of the 1.4 billion people of India, he extended his warmest wishes to the country. Prime Minister Modi received an unprecedented honour during this visit. The Ethiopian government honoured him with the country’s highest award, the ‘Great Honor Nishan of Ethiopia’. Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali honored him with the award at a ceremony held at the Addis International Convention Center.
