PM Sunak’s Rs 495 pen increased the tension of whole Britain

London | British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has once again found himself embroiled in controversies. This time the reason is his ‘pen’. The Guardian’s report has revealed that the British PM has a pen that can be erased after writing. According to reports, PM Sunak owns a Pilot-V fountain pen, which costs 4.75 pounds (Rs 495). The words written with this pen can be easily erased.
Sunak was seen signing with this pen, after which a ruckus was created. It has been said in the report that Sunak had used this pen at the time of becoming Chancellor and now even after becoming PM, he is using this pen. The report further stated that PM Sunak was also seen signing official documents with the same pen, which is a matter of concern. Recently, he also signed the cabinet note with this pen. This month he was seen signing the European Political Community meeting in Moldova with this pen.
Opposition parties have targeted Sunak for signing with this pen. Tom Breck, chief of the Unlock Democracy Campaign Group, said that the use of this pen undermines people’s trust. On the other hand, it has been said from the Prime Minister’s Office that the British PM does not use this pen. Sunak’s press secretary said that PM Sunak has never used this pen and neither will he. This type of pen is used by people associated with civil service.
