Poem on Shri Krishna Janmashtami
Mohala: On Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Janta Se Rishta reader Roshan Sahu has e-mailed a poem.
// Awaken the smile //
Oh Govind, you come,
Eat butter and sugar candy.
Aryavart has become restless,
Now be happy after coming.
It has been waiting for you since long,
Make the bowers and lanes fragrant.
The tune of immortality has started,
Sing the love song.
The Yamuna banks have become barren
Make the nectar of love flow.
Meera’s ghungroos are breaking
Tie them at your feet.
Don’t leave your flute like this Mohan
Come holding the flute on your lips.
Nirbhaya, Aruna are crying.

Pick up the Su-Darshan Chakra.
Mother cow is being slaughtered everyday
Now please cure the bad times.
Oh, the support of the helpless
Do not delay now.
Everywhere, complexities are visible
Captivate the mind.
Childhood is not visible anywhere
Naughty! Awaken the smile.
