Poisonous gas leak in well, 4 people died

MP: Four people who went down to install a pump in a well located in a field in Katni district died due to leakage of poisonous gas. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed grief over this accident and announced financial assistance of four lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased.

According to the information, the pump of Sanjay’s well in Juhli village had broken down. Pintu was lowered into the well to fix it. When he did not come out for a long time, three more people went down into the well one by one. All four died.

A relief and rescue operation has been launched. The bodies of all four have been taken out of the well and sent to the hospital for post-mortem. CM Mohan Yadav has expressed deep grief over this accident. The CM posted on Twitter, “The news of the untimely demise of four precious lives in an accident caused by the leakage of poisonous gas while a farmer was installing a submersible motor pump in the well of his field in village Juhli of Mudwara assembly of Katni district is heart-breaking. I pray to Baba Mahakal to give place to the holy souls of the deceased in his lotus feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this thunderbolt. The bereaved family will be provided assistance of Rs 4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Vishvagnudan fund. Om Shanti.”
