On June 5, Sakti’s grocery merchant Bharat Athwani was robbed of Rs 22 lakh 50 thousand in Sakti police station area. Bharat Athwani, who is a wholesaler of grocery. He used to supply his grocery goods in the surrounding area. To recover his money, they had gone to Malkharoda area and were returning after recovering from there. That’s why some people riding the bike reached chasing him and dropped the businessman along with the bike and looted the bag containing the recovery money.
Taking action in the case, Sakti Superintendent of Police MR Ahire formed a special team and gave the responsibility of investigation. After which the police interrogated the suspects. During this, 4 accused have been arrested by the police. In which Siddhant Sharma and Manju Sharma, residents of Kharsia, and two minors are included. 10 lakh 10 thousand rupees have been recovered from the arrested accused.
