Police caught Rs 3 lakh cash during checking, youth arrested
Korba: Korba Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla had given guidelines and guidance to stop illegal activities in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023, on which today under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Abhishek Verma and City Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Gudiya Police Station Incharge Deepka Ashwani Rathore. – On 16.11.23, Deepka staff had left for Deepka Chowk for vehicle checking.
They were checking all incoming and outgoing vehicles by setting up a mobile check post near Deepka Chowk petrol pump when a person came who was stopped and interrogated. He gave his name as Rakesh Singh, father Mangal Singh, age 36 years, Sakin- Pali Road, Deepka police station – Deepka district. A resident of Korba said that on checking the bag in his hand, Rs 3,00000/- (three lakh rupees) in cash was found in the bag, in respect of which valid documents were not presented. Due to which, if the said amount is suspicious, it can be confiscated in front of witnesses under Section 102 J.F. Due action has been taken under this and continuous checking is being done to ensure fair and peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections.
