The police had received information that illegal gambling operations were being conducted at certain locations. Acting on this intelligence, police teams kept the sites under surveillance before executing planned raids.
Several individuals were detained at the scene during the raids. Investigations revealed that the accused were allegedly gambling. Cases have been registered against all the accused under relevant sections of the law, and further legal proceedings are underway.
