Police did special checking of school auto vehicles, cut challan

Raipur. Keeping in mind the safe movement of school students, under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police, District Raipur, Prashant Kumar Aggarwal, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Jaiprakash Carpenter, school autos transporting students to various schools of the city by the Traffic Police, Raipur. Checking campaign was conducted. In this regard, it was told by Deputy Superintendent of Police Gurjit Singh that keeping in view the complete safety of the students in the school auto vehicles operating in the city, a special checking campaign is being conducted in which our police officers and employees are checking on the spot whether Are there adequate safety measures in the school auto? Are you not transporting more students than your capacity? Whether the vehicle has passed the fitness test from the Transport Department or not? Are all the vehicle documents correct or not? Does the driver have a valid license or not? ,

This campaign will continue continuously, action will be taken under the Motor Vehicle Act in case of non-compliance of security measures and not having the documents of the vehicles correct. Please tell that keeping in mind the safe transportation of school students by the Traffic Police Raipur, surprise checking of school auto vehicles is done from time to time, under which if there is a defect in the safety equipment, and the documents of the vehicles are found incomplete or Action is taken on driving vehicles without license. In this order, from 21 April 2023, a special campaign is being conducted by the traffic police Raipur against school auto vehicles, under which more than 150 school auto vehicles were checked on the first day today. In which 67 vehicles were found to be defective and were fined under the Motor Vehicles Act by taking challan action. This process will continue continuously.

Appeal to the parents Traffic Police Raipur appeals to all the parents to keep complete information regarding the school auto driver transporting their children. Don’t keep silent just by taking mobile number, understand your responsibility:-

🚦 If the driver is not addicted to any kind of drugs, if so, then change the auto immediately.

🚦 How is the behavior of the driver towards the children, keep asking your children about the behavior of the driver.

🚦 Especially take care of the time, walk 10 minutes earlier, don’t be late, otherwise the driver will drive recklessly at high speed to manage time, which can prove dangerous for children.
