Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced that ‘Police Didis’ (female police personnel) would be deployed in schools and colleges across the state starting from Raksha Bandhan. He stated that the safety and dignity of the state’s women and girls are the government’s top priority, and the police mechanism dedicated to women’s safety is being strengthened with this objective in mind.
