According to the information, the police station in-charge Kotwali received information from the informer that Santosh Behera of Tiur Para was keeping illegal drug ganja in his house and selling it. Immediately upon receiving the information, the police station team along with the witnesses conducted a raid on the suspect’s house. The suspect Santosh Behera was informed by the Kotwali police about the Ganja raid proceedings and the suspect and his house were searched in front of witnesses.
Under the bed of the suspect, inside a cloth bag, a plastic foil packet and two separate plastic packets containing a drug suspected to be ganja were found, which after being identified in front of the witnesses, was identified as ganja, which on weighing was found to be 4. Kilo 099 gram ganja worth around ₹ 49,000 was found.
