Police patrolling team raided, youth making liquor behind the house arrested
Raigarh. On the direction of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, police station in-charge Tamnar Inspector Arshiwad Rahatgaonkar is continuously taking action on the information by activating informers to take action against social crimes like illegal liquor, gambling and betting in the village. In the same sequence, this morning the police station in-charge received information from the informer that Kamil Kujur of village Kunjemura was selling Mahua liquor from the loft (hut) built in the courtyard behind his house.
Immediately the police station in-charge, who had left for rural patrolling, was directed to take action. Tamnar police team raided village Kunjemura and detained suspect Kamil Kujur from whose possession 20 liters of Mahua liquor was recovered and confiscated. Since the accused did not have any license to sell liquor, action has been taken by Tamnar police against the accused Kamil Kujur, father Manohar Kujur, aged 39 years, resident of Kunjemura police station, Tamnar, under Section 34(2), 59(A) of Excise. Head constable Santosh Kurre, constable Bhishmadev Sagar and Pushpendra Sidar were involved in the liquor raid.
