Police raid in bookies’ hideouts, 9 arrested with laptop and bank passbook

In this episode, the Durg police have arrested 9 accused of online betting in Bhilai. It is being told that 2 pieces of laptops, 15 mobiles, ATM cards, passbooks and many other items have been recovered from the accused. Let us inform that recently the police arrested more than 30 bookies by raiding different areas.
According to the information received, Andy Crime, Cyber Unit, Bhilai Old Police Station, acting on the basis of information, arrested 9 bookies. It is being told that information was being received from the people of the area for a long time that illegal betting business is being done here. On the basis of information, the police arrested 9 accused by raiding the bookies’ hideouts.
It is being told that betting lines are connected with Nagpur and bookies have connections with many states as well. At present, the police is engaged in probing the inter-state connection of the bookies. At present, the police is interrogating all the accused.
