Police raided a house under construction, 5 gamblers arrested

Dantewada. Five gamblers have been arrested for gambling inside an under-construction house in Gidam Nagar of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. 16 thousand 6 hundred 40 rupees and playing cards, 3 mobile phones, 1 bulb have been seized from the caught gamblers. The matter belongs to Dantewada police station area.

According to the information received, the police received information from the informer that a person named Omprakash Thackeray of Gayatri Nagar Ward No. 12, Geedam, was gambling inside his under-construction house. After this, the police took action and arrested 5 gamblers. 16 thousand 6 hundred 40 rupees and playing cards, 3 mobile phones, 1 bulb have been seized from the caught gamblers. The names of the accused are 61 year old Ram Dayal, 25 year old Akash Shivhare, 39 year old Om Prakash Thakre, 42 year old Jitendra Jhari, 38 year old Anil Kumar Shivhare. All are residents of Atal Awas Para Geedam. At present the police arrested all the gamblers and sent them to jail.
