Policeman narrowly escapes knife attack, miscreants rush to kill him

Bilaspur: In order to remove the vehicle in Bilaspur, took out a knife to kill the head constable of the traffic police and started running to kill him. Meanwhile the constable saved his life by running away. A car of youths was parked in the wrong direction, the miscreants overpowered the head constable who went to remove it and started a brawl. The police have registered a case against the miscreants and started searching for them. The matter is of Sirgitti police station area.

Neelchand Khandekar is working on the post of head constable in the police department. His posting is in the traffic police station. On Monday, his point duty was engaged at Tifra’s Bajrang Hotel Chowk. Actually, point duty is imposed when the situation of jam is created here. He was arranging the traffic at the time of arrival of the High Court judges at around 6 pm on Monday. Just then a small elephant appeared and stood there.

The head constable reached there to remove the small elephant standing in the wrong direction at the turn leading to Yadunandan Nagar. During this, he asked the driver to move the car. The driver was moving the car. Then four-five youths standing there came and started arguing about getting the car removed.
