Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar conferred on 17 children by President Droupadi Murmu

New Delhi: The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar was conferred on 17 children by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi said reports on Thursday.

According to reports, Droupadi Murmu conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on 17 children in seven categories, for their exceptional achievements. The award ceremony was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in Delhi.

President Droupadi Murmu spoke on the occasion of Veer Baal Divas, “The spirit of patriotism leads children on the path of devotion to the cause of national interest.” Murmu further said that, “I believe that the achievements of children like now will take India to the pinnacle of progress.”

“It has been a part of our tradition to give opportunities to the talent of children and to respect it. This tradition should be strengthened,” Droupadi Murmu also added.
