Pramila Mallick gets School & Mass Education and Labour Departments
Bhubaneswar: Revenue and Disaster Management Department Pramila Mallick has been allocated the portfolios of School & Mass Education as well as Labour Department.
Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik gave the additional charges to Mallick as the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das and Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Employees State Insurance Minister Srikanta Sahu have resigned from their posts.
It is to be noted here that Samir Ranjan Das and Srikanta Sahu resigned from their posts yesterday with the aim to discharge organisational responsibility. Likewise, Odisha Assembly speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha also resigned from his post for personal reasons.
With the resignation of the trio, it was speculated that Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik likely to make major change in cabinet.
