Prashant Kishore attacked, Nitish’s rule is ‘jungle raj’ of officers

Patna: Well-known election strategist and architect of Jan Suraj Padyatra, Prashant Kishore targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that there has not been much difference in the situation in Bihar. He said that if Lalu Prasad’s reign was ‘Jungle Raj of criminals’ then Nitish Kumar’s reign is ‘Jungle Raj of officers’. He said that people are using abusive words against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his rule. Prashant Kishore claimed that Nitish Kumar cannot walk in any village of Bihar without security and government employees. Today bureaucracy and corruption are at their peak in Bihar. Not a single work is done without money. Referring to the plight of Bihar, he said that the problem of migration is very big in the villages and panchayats where he has got the opportunity to visit. Up to 60 percent of the villages do not have youth. He further said that the biggest failure of Nitish Kumar’s rule is the collapse of the education system in Bihar. Referring to the problem of landless people in Bihar, Prashant Kishore said that the biggest reason for poverty and unemployment in Bihar is the large number of landless people. According to statistics, 58 percent people in Bihar are landless while the number of landless in the country is 38 percent.
