Pregnant daughter and parents die in road accident

Alwar. A loading tempo hit the bike from behind at 8 pm on Monday night in Bhiwadi, Alwar. The bike riding couple and their 4-month pregnant daughter died in the accident. The incident took place near Jhundpuri turn of Tapukada police station area of Bhiwadi. Tapukada police station incharge Bhagwan Sahay Sharma said that the bike rider was a resident of village Musari in the police station area. Gyan Singh Kaur (48) of the village, along with his wife Neeta Kaur (45) and daughter Sunita (21) had gone to the fields on Monday afternoon by bike to pick cotton. At 8 pm, Gyan Singh along with his family was returning from the farm on bike. During this time, just 300 meters before Musari village, near Jhundpuri turn, a tempo laden with tiles coming from behind hit the bike. The collision was so strong that all three jumped and fell on the road and were seriously injured.

After the incident, the tempo driver fled leaving the vehicle at the spot. As soon as information about the accident was received, family members and villagers from Musari village reached the spot. He immediately got the injured admitted to the government hospital in Tapukada. The doctor declared Gyan Singh and his wife Neeta Kaur dead. Injured Sunita was referred to Alwar District Hospital in critical condition. Sunita also died during treatment in Alwar. On Tuesday morning, the bodies of Gyan Singh and his wife Neeta Kaur were handed over to their relatives after postmortem was conducted at Tapukada Hospital. Sunita’s postmortem has been done in Alwar District Hospital. Tapukada police seized the tempo from the spot. The absconding tempo driver is being searched.

The neighbor of Gyan Singh, a resident of Musari village, said – Gyan Singh has three daughters and two sons. Sunita got married only a year ago. She was four months pregnant and had come to Pehar to stay for a few days. Elder daughter Sundara (32) is also married. Youngest daughter Simran (17) studies in class 7th in a government school in Tapukada. He told- The mental condition of Gyan Singh’s elder son Shailendra (28) is not good, he is unmarried. There is a son, Gurvinder, who does farming work at home. Gurvinder is married and has two sons.
