Pregnant Malayalam actress dies of heart attack
Mumbai: Popular Malayalam television actress Priya, best known for her role in ‘Karuthamuthu’, died of a heart attack on Wednesday.The actress was eight months pregnant and doctors are currently in the ICU trying to save her baby are doing.
Priya, who was also a doctor by profession, had taken a break from acting after her marriage.
Actor Kishore Satya shared the news of his death on his Instagram account.
He shared a picture of the actress and wrote in Malayalam, “Another unexpected death in Malayalam television field. Dr Priya died of cardiac arrest. She was eight months pregnant. The child is in the ICU. He had no health problems. I went to the hospital yesterday for a routine check-up and suddenly went into cardiac arrest.”
The actor added, “The mother who is crying is not able to accept the death of her only daughter. The pain of husband Nanna as a partner with Priya without going anywhere for six months… Last night, while going to the hospital, I was sad. What would you say to console them… Why did God show such cruelty to His people, who were believers… The mind kept repeating the question over and over again.”
