Press conference of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, fiercely targeted BJP

Raipur: Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel and 4 former ministers held a press conference at Rajiv Bhawan. During this, Bhupesh Baghel said that a 4-year-old girl was molested in Bhilai DPS, but the SP said that the investigation was done and the matter was suppressed. He said that the SP sometimes plays the role of a guardian, sometimes of a judge, sometimes of a goon.

Baghel said that under POCSO, first an FIR has to be registered, then an investigation is done, but the FIR was not registered. Baghel said that efforts are being made to save the Bhilai Steel Management, Principal and thirdly the SP. This matter is somewhere about transactions.

Bhupesh Baghel said that the medical report has confirmed the injury in the private part. The matter is in the knowledge of the government, yet no action has been taken. He said that on July 5, the health of the 4-year-old girl deteriorated, when she was examined, it was found that there were injuries in the private part. When the parents came to know, the principal said that I have investigated. There is no irregularity in this.

Bhupesh Baghel said that even after the matter came to the notice of SP Durg, no action was taken. Very shamelessly SP Durg says that there are no facts in this. The parents also do not want an FIR in this. You tell me, which parent whose daughter has been wronged would not want action against the culprit?

Baghel said that this clearly means that he is under pressure. How did it happen without investigation? If this matter had come to the notice of the SP, then action should have been taken on it. A memorandum was also given to the Women and Child Development Minister. If this matter came to the notice of the minister, then it means that the government is also aware of this matter.

Former minister Ravindra Choubey said that in Chhattisgarh, under Vishnu’s good governance, a crime was committed against a 4-year-old girl. If the people who have stars on their shoulders for protection try to suppress the matter, then there cannot be a bigger misfortune for Chhattisgarh than this. Even after 2 medical doctors said so, the government did not pay attention. No action even after application to the minister.

Choubey said that why should the principal not be tested, why should there not be an FIR against him. All the facts have come out, then who told the principal to say that we have done the investigation. They also threaten the press that if you run the news then an FIR will be lodged against you.

There is democracy in this country. In the name of good governance, you have made Chhattisgarh a stronghold of crimes. A woman is gangraped in Pusaur. Gangrape happens in Kawardha and Ambikapur. Raipur has been made a stronghold of crime. There is no one to take action. You have made the capital Raipur the capital of crimes. The government should take cognizance and stop such crimes.
