Prime Video launches the music album of the upcoming Amazon Original Series ‘Jee Karda’

Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment platform, today unveiled the heartwarming music album of its upcoming Amazon Original Series, ‘Jee Karda’. The album comprises of 07 original songs which will take the audience on a nostalgic trip reminiscing the good old days. The soul touching album is composed by Sachin-Jigar and the lyrics are penned by Jigar Saraiya, Rashmeet Kaur, I P Singh , written by Mello D and Simran Chowdhary. Enjoy the friendship mashup with ‘Jawaaniyan’, and get ready to groove to non-stop ‘Yaar Ki Shaadi’ at your best friend’s wedding. Each song in the album will take the audience back to the special moments spent with their childhood friends.

Speaking about the soundtrack, composer duo Sachin-Jigar shared, “We have had a memorable experience composing music for Jee Karda. It is always a pleasure to be associated with Prime Video as it helps make a difference. Our primary goal was to capture the essence of the series, particularly its focus on friendship. Each song in the album has a unique charm that will take the listeners on a musical journey, covering the ups and downs of friendship with melodious melodies. Our aim was to create tunes that evoke nostalgia, reminding the audience of memorable moments spent with their childhood friends. Working with a new bunch of very talented singers like Varun Jain, The Rish, Rashmeet Kaur, Melo D, IP Singh, and Simran Chowdhary has been a lot of fun and has added a distinctive charm to the album. We sincerely hope that the audience will love the musical and enjoy it to the fullest.

Directed by Arunima Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the series is co-written by Arunima Sharma, Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. Zee Karda stars seven childhood friends namely Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee and Sandesh Suwalka in lead roles. Prime members in 240+ countries and territories will be able to stream the series starting June 15.
