Principal found missing, show cause notice issued
Rajim. Gariaband District Collector Deepak Aggarwal is in action mood regarding education and health. Due to ongoing inspection regarding administrative tightness in the district, a surprise inspection of Eklavya Residential School, Kosambuda of Chhura was conducted today.
He reached the residential school and inspected the living and education arrangements of the children etc. Also took information from the children about their education and living arrangements.
During the inspection, Collector Aggarwal visited all the rooms of the residential school and took stock of the arrangements. He took information from the staff present about the attendance of children, staff attendance register, stock register etc.
Also visited Physics, Chemistry and Bio Lab and observed the arrangements made for practicals. Apart from this, the store room made in the hostel to keep ration materials was also inspected.
On this occasion, the principal of the residential school was also found absent without notice. Collector Aggarwal directed to issue show cause notice to the Principal and Superintendent regarding the principal missing and huge disorganization being found in the residential school and the stock register not being maintained.
The Collector also visited the girls’ hostel and inspected the store room and took information about the necessary arrangements. On the spot, the lady superintendent was found absent without giving written charge to any employee.
