Prithviraj Sukumuran sports epic tribal survivor look in ‘Aadujeevitham’ poster
Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumuran’s upcoming action-survival-drama-epic film ‘Aadujeevitham’ has released its first poster, featuring the actor in a very dramatic, almost tribal-like survivor look. With the actor looking absolutely epic, the poster only raises expectations from the film while not revealing anything.
In the poster, Prithviraj plays the role of a character named Najeeb Muhammad and is surrounded by a herd of goats amidst the shining sunlight. The actor, who seems content to die or rather wait to kill, looks absolutely deadly in this new avatar.
The poster alone is enough to clarify the tone of the film, making it appear as a very serious and contemplative drama narratively. Being surrounded by goats all around and with his eyes closed, it definitely seems that the superstar is waiting to kill someone.
‘Aadujeevitham’, titled ‘The Goat Life’ in English, is an adaptation of the 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name, in which a man named Najeeb Muhammad is a Malayali immigrant and laborer who is forced into slavery in Saudi Arabia as a shepherd. Are being given.
The book focuses on Najib, who like most immigrant workers dreams of working in the Persian Gulf states and earning enough money to send back home. But, he achieves his dream only to be inspired by a series of events that bring him into existence like slaves herding goats in the middle of the Saudi desert.
While toiling in the barren and hot deserts of Arabia, Najib manages to escape from his captors and kills a few people in the process.
A joint production, the film is directed by Blessy and has music by AR Rahman, and will be released sometime in 2024.
