Property dealer dies, three suspects including woman in police custody
Bilaspur. The dead body of a property dealer was found in a pond in Sakri police station area of Bilaspur. On Tuesday, his bike and clothes were also found near the pond, which also contained a suicide note. Things like harassment regarding money transactions are written in it. In the case, the police are detaining and interrogating three suspects including a woman.
Jitendra Dubey (28), father Ashok Dubey, resident of village Saida adjacent to the city, along with farming, was also involved in property dealing. He left home around 11 am on Monday morning, after which he did not return home till late evening. Troubled by this, his family members were searching for him.
Even after searching throughout the night, nothing was found. Jitendra’s body was found in the pond on Tuesday. As soon as the information was received, his family members also reached there. His bike was also parked near the pond, in which his shirt and pants were kept wrapped. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot. Police say that only the postmortem report will reveal whether the youth died due to drowning in water or whether he drank poison.
