Protest against Adipurush film in Chhattisgarh, posters removed from talkies

Bastar. Protest has started in Bastar also against Prabhas and Kirti Sanon starrer film Adipurush. Members of Hindu organization Saksham have removed the poster of the film from outside talkies in Jagdalpur. Dialogues spoken in the movie and many types of objectionable scenes are being opposed. The Hindu organization says that our faith is being hurt by indecent language.

The members of the Hindu organization handed over a memorandum to the district administration and police officers, saying that by June 21, the film should be removed from all theaters in Jagdalpur or its objectionable scenes and dialogues should be edited. If this does not happen then the members of Saksham themselves are capable of getting the film stopped. However, so far no statement has come from the administration in this regard.

Members of other Hindu organizations including Saksham Sanstha reached outside the city’s Jhankar Talkies. He removed the poster of Adipurush from outside the theatre. Also created a lot of ruckus. However, after some time the matter calmed down. Apart from this, opposition to the film has also started on social media.
