Punjab CM gave statement regarding opposition

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said on Friday that the opposition has been constantly raising frivolous issues, while the AAP government has always worked for the overall development of the state.
Mann said, “If you break the string of the Takri (SAD symbol), it becomes useless. If a finger is broken, the hand (Congress symbol) cannot function properly, and if the petals of the Lotus (BJP symbol) are broken, it is no longer intact. However, even if a few sticks of the broom (AAP symbol) are broken, it can still clean well.” He targeted opposition parties demanding his resignation over the alleged viral video. Laying the foundation stone of a stadium in Samana, he said, “This stadium will be built on nine acres of panchayat land at an estimated cost of Rs 10.35 crore. It will have an eight-lane, 400-meter synthetic athletics track.”
CM Mann said the Punjab government is building 3,100 rural sports grounds equipped with modern facilities at a cost of ₹1,250 crore. He added that sports infrastructure will play a vital role in keeping youth away from drugs. The CM said, “It is a matter of great pride that Punjab has the opportunity to host the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Despite the strong presence of Punjabis, Punjab had not hosted a major hockey tournament until now.”
