Mahashivratri in Isha: Union Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Coimbatore today
Tamil Nadu: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the Maha Shivaratri festival at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on Sunday (February 15). He will arrive in Coimbatore by plane at 4:15 p.m.
The Maha Shivaratri festival will be celebrated at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on Sunday (February 15). Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the ceremony, which will take place in front of the statue of Adiyogi.
Millions of devotees are expected to attend the event.
In connection with this, 7,000 police personnel have been deployed in Coimbatore district for security and surveillance. Special arrangements have been made to handle the large crowd of devotees and to speed up security checks.
Union Minister Rajnath Singh will arrive in Coimbatore by plane at 4:15 p.m. to participate in the festival. From there, he will depart for the Isha Yoga Center by private helicopter at 4:25 p.m.
He will attend pujas and musical programmes starting Sunday night and arrive at Coimbatore airport the next day (Monday, February 16) at 10:35 a.m. He will then fly to Delhi at 10:45 a.m.
