Punjab: Hockey Olympians release book

PUNJAB: Olympic hockey legends of Pakistan today released a book ‘Panj-Aab De Shah Aswar’ penned by Navdeep Singh Gill of India during an event held at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore. The book profiles the sports heroes of Charhanda Punjab of India and Lahanda Punjab of Pakistan. In a wide ranging discussion held during the book release, former Pakistani hockey player Abid Sherwani and Olympians Tauqir Dar, Tahir Zaman and Rehan Butt described the book as a major step in promoting goodwill and disseminating information about sportspersons from both Punjabs.
