Punjab: In a tragic accident, a speeding car collided with a divider, killing 5 people, including two minor girls.

Punjab: Five people were killed when a speeding car crashed into a divider in Ludhiana last Sunday midnight. The accident occurred near the Ladhowal toll plaza and was so horrific that all five bodies were severely mutilated. One person’s arm and another’s leg were severed. The bodies were taken to the civil hospital. The victims have not yet been identified. The deceased included two minor girls and three young men. They are reportedly all residents of Jagraon.
According to reports, the Hyundai Verna car was traveling from South City towards Ladhowal. Due to excessive speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit the divider, overturned, and skidded for a considerable distance. ASI Kashmir Singh of the Ladhowal police station reached the spot and alerted the NHAI ambulance. The bodies were extricated from the car and taken to the civil hospital. Police said that efforts are being made to contact the families of the deceased. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
