Punjab: Man dies after consuming poison, case filed against his wife

Punjab: Shivtar Singh (40) died while his wife Khushmandeep Kaur and parents Surjit Singh and Jaswinder Kaur fell ill after allegedly consuming poisonous substance in Gurusar village of Gidderbaha subdivision on Monday night. Surjit and Jaswinder are in critical condition while Khushmandeep is stable. Police have registered a case against the deceased’s wife on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Jagtar Singh. The complainant has alleged that Khushmandeep poisoned the entire family.
