Punjab: Manpreet Badal’s daughter got engaged to Karan Singh’s grandson.
Punjab: The daughter of former Punjab Finance Minister and BJP leader Manpreet Singh Badal, Rhea Badal, got engaged today to Martand Singh, the grandson of Congress leader Karan Singh. Martand Singh is a lawyer practicing in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court. The groom’s father, Vikramaditya Singh, a descendant of the Dogra dynasty, announced the engagement through a Facebook post today, confirming the union between two prominent political families of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. He posted on Saturday, “By the grace of Mata Rani, we are delighted to announce the engagement of our son Martand Singh to Rhea Badal, daughter of Sardar and Sardarni Manpreet Singh Badal. We extend our love and blessings to them for a bright future.” Senior Congress leader Karan Singh is the son of Maharaja Hari Singh, the last Maharaja of Kashmir.
