Punjab: Police arrested two people with opium
Punjab: Police arrested two men and seized around 4 kg of opium from their possession this morning. The suspects have been identified as Pargat Singh of Dhimhawali village in Faridkot and Kamalpreet Singh alias Babbu of Puri Colony, police said. The truck and car used by the suspects to smuggle the drugs have also been seized, police said. Investigating officer in the case, Hakam Singh, said the police seized the opium and arrested the suspects near Panjgrain village on Moga-Kotkapura State Highway.
