Punjab: Police arrested woman caught taking drugs in video

Punjab: After a video of a man and a woman injecting drugs in a 100-foot area went viral on social media, the police arrested the woman under the NDPS Act. SHO Sukhbir Singh of Division B police station said that the woman is a resident of Chohla Sahib and was a drug addict. She was arrested by the police earlier as well and was admitted to Swami Vivekanand Nasha Mukti Kendra for treatment. However, after being discharged, she started taking drugs again. She was produced in a local court and will be admitted to the hospital for further treatment.
