Punjab: Students of St. Soldier advocate for peace
Jalandhar: Students of Saint Soldier Group of Institutions celebrated New Year 2025 by forming a human chain advocating world peace. Group Chairman Anil Chopra and Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of education in making India a developed nation. Pointing out the difference between India and developed countries, they encouraged the students to move ahead in innovation and nation building. They wished them happiness, prosperity and progress in the coming year, and appreciated the efforts of the students for inspiring unity and harmony in the fast-developing world.
Students of CT School shine in conference
Jalandhar: Students of CT Public School gave a mesmerizing performance in the 149th Shri Baba Harivallabh Music Competition at the prestigious Devi Talab Mandir. Under the guidance of the music department of the school, the students gave a soulful 13-minute rendition of Saraswati Vandana and Harivallabh Vandana. Though it was a non-competitive platform, their performance earned praise from Harivallabh Sangeet Mahasabha and Devi Talab Mandir committees, making it a proud moment for the school. Vice-Principal Sukhdeep Kaur highlighted the discipline and teamwork of the students, adding that their effort reflects CT Public School’s ethos of promoting creativity and appreciation of classical art. Congratulating the artistes and mentors, the school management acknowledged the students’ contribution in promoting the essence of classical music.
APJ School organises ‘Abhivyakti 2.0’
Jalandhar: Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg celebrated its annual function “Abhivyakti 2.0” with great pomp under the leadership of Chairperson Sushma Paul Berlia. Chief Guest on the occasion Dr. Rishi Kumar, IRS and alumnus Dr. Sahil Sareen were among the dignitaries present. The programme commenced with a Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a video showcasing the visionary journey of the founders of APJ. The highlights included cultural programmes like English play, “Shakespeare Decoded” and Sufi Dance and Bhangra. Successful students in curricular and extra-curricular areas were felicitated by the Chief Guest and the school management. The annual report by Principal Sangeeta Nistandra highlighted the major achievements of the past year, reflecting the school’s commitment to overall excellence. The enthusiastic applause of the parents underlined the success of the programme, which concluded with the vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem.
