Punjab: The timing of the famous Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post on the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar has been changed. This daily ceremony, which attracts thousands of people from India and abroad, will now be held from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Previously, the ceremony started at 5:00 pm and ended by 5:30 pm. Officials said the change was made due to the changing weather and daylight hours. The new timing came into effect from April 1.
