Punjab: Two arrested with stolen expensive cars

With the arrest of two people, the police claimed to have solved a case involving a gang selling stolen expensive cars from Delhi-NCR. The suspects were selling these vehicles with forged documents at low prices in and around the city.

SP (City) Mohammad Sarfaraz said eight cars have been recovered from the suspects. He said the suspects were in touch with gangs in Delhi-NCR through social media. The suspects, Harpreet Singh and Arun Sharma, hailing from Sangrur and Patiala, have been booked under sections 411, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 473 of the IPC. The police have also registered a case against his three unknown associates.
