Puri: The Puri-Angul fast passenger train caught fire on Saturday, according to reports. According to reports, the rubber on the wheels of the train caught fire. The incident occurred before the train reached Puri station. The fire was reported between Malatipatapur and Huluhulia bridge. Further reports said that there was no damage to any person or property due to the fire. It is worth noting that on July 26, a freight train derailed in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar. Two coaches of the freight train derailed near Mancheswar station. According to reports, the train derailed after crossing Bhubaneswar station. The down line of the railway station was affected and train services were disrupted. Efforts were made to clear the third line and continue train services without any interruption. East Coast Railway Public Relations Officer (PRO) Ashok Mishra said that repair work has started and cranes are coming to lift the wagons.
