Queen Mary College students meet CM, thank him for providing laptops

Tamil Nadu: Students from Chennai’s Queen Mary College, who received laptops under the “World in Your Hands” scheme, met and thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday.
On his way to the Secretariat, Chief Minister Stalin met with college students waiting at the Queen Mary College gate. Students waiting with government-provided laptops, including college principal Uma Maheshwari, welcomed the Chief Minister with roses.
The students who spoke with the Chief Minister at the time thanked him and said that the Tamil Nadu government’s Innovative Women’s Program had greatly helped them. They also explained that the laptops provided would be helpful not only during their studies but also when they complete their studies and go to work.
Speaking, a visually impaired student thanked the Chief Minister for providing Braille technology for use by those with visual impairments.
Speaking further, Chief Minister Stalin urged them to study well.
